Renee Seacor grew up in the Hudson Valley just north of New York City where she developed a strong appreciation for the natural world at a young age. She moved west to attend Rocky Mountain College in Montana where she graduated with a B.S. in Environmental Science and Studies. She developed a strong passion for birds and natural places while conducting research on Osprey in the Yellowstone river ecosystem. This work inspired her to pursue a higher legal education to attempt to protect the wild places and species she loves. Renee is currently a third year law student at the University of Oregon School of Law. She has a passion for long distance backpacking and successfully completed a 500 mile thru hike of the Colorado Trail this past summer. She is also an avid bird watcher.
