Nate Gurol is a 2014 PIELC Co-Director. He interned for Judge Susan Svetkey at the Multnomah County Courthouse after his first year of law school. He graduated with a B.A. from the University of Washington in 2011, double majoring in History, with a focus on American Constitutional History, and Political Science. During his undergraduate career, Nate volunteered with Green Seattle Partnership and various other local environmental non-profits working with urban youth to restore and maintain Seattleās urban parks. In his free time, Nate enjoys the outdoors doing a variety of activities such as running, hiking, biking, Ultimate Frisbee, and climbing. These experiences have made Nate an avid supporter of the environmentalist movement, contributed to his decision to come to law school to defend these ideals, and led him to be one of the Co-Directors for PIELC 2014.
