Hilary Therien is a native Oregonian who stays up at night thinking about the privatization of water. Before pursuing her JD at UO, she earned a BA in History with minors is Spanish and Philosophy from Oregon State, thus rendering her a platypus. During her time in undergrad, she focused on US diplomacy, emphasizing relations with Latin America. She also enjoyed focusing on the history of 20th century science. Hilary is incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to play a role in this amazing conference. If she were to ever become a judge, would always properly consider the public interest.
