Gaby Penvenne grew up swimming, surfing, kayaking, and hiking on the central coast of California; exploring open spaces across the western United States and Alaska solidified her love and appreciation for the outdoors. Gaby earned a BS in Environmental Studies from UC Santa Barbara where she competed as a NCAA Swimmer. At Oregon Law, she is an Environmental and Natural Resources Law Fellow, working with Professor Mary Wood on interdisciplinary research to tackle the climate crisis. Gaby has worked in various capacities with the Environmental Defense Center, Western Environmental Law Center, and Our Children’s Trust, and hopes to continue working on local, national, and global environmental advocacy through law school and beyond!
