The PIELC Celebration is one of the most talked about events at PIELC. This year’s party will take place on Friday, March 2 at the Ford Alumni Center. The good times go from 8-11pm and tickets are available in advance ONLY! The party includes a light meal, a couple of beers and great music.
This year the Moon Mountain Ramblers will be helping us kick off PIELC with their eclectic blend of bluegrass, jazz, rock and country that begs you to move around and dance like a happy fool. Hailing from Bend, Oregon, this group of five musicians from all over the U.S. has played at festivals such as Northwest String Summit and Mountain Stomp and are guaranteed to bring the good times to PIELC.
As we are striving to cut down on waste, we ask that you please bring your own mug to the party for beer or whatever you choose to sip on. There will be PIELC 2012 mugs for sale at the conference for $5, but not at the celebration. So if you want to stave off dehydration, bring a mug!
Keeping in the spirit of waste reduction, some of our electrical needs will be provided by the University's Pedal Power Program. Attendees will have the chance to pedal custom bicycles along to the music to help power the amps.
Tickets are available to purchase for $10 online or at the conference until Friday, March 2 at 5pm.
