Jack Anderson grew up running, surfing, snorkeling and surfing along the coast of Southern California, where he developed his interest in Ocean and Coastal Law. Anderson earned his history degree at University of California, Irvine. During that time, he interned an ocean conservation nonprofit called Blue Frontier Campaign in Washington D.C., where he organized a fundraiser run from the Capitol Building to the Chesapeake Bay. Anderson also worked for two years as a Public Programs Instructor at the Ocean Institute in Dana Point, California, where he introduced members of the public to local environmental issues through the facility’s living collections. In his spare time, Jack loves to run along the Willamette River, bake cookies, and play the piano.
