Helen Toloza grew up in the sunny city of Los Angeles, CA but discovered her passion for food justice during her time as an undergraduate at UC Santa Cruz. There she became an advocate for sustainably grown foods and for food workers’ rights. She is currently a second-year law student at the University of Oregon and is interested specifically in food law. During her free time, Helen enjoys hiking, listening to music, and creating zines
