Dan Lawler | Co-Director | L.A.W.

Dan Lawler grew up in Oak Hill, Virginia, just west of Washington DC, but discovered his passion for the natural environment 4 hours to the southwest while at Virginia Tech. At Tech, he earned a BS in Environmental Policy and Planning, performed research for the Agricultural and Applied Economics Department, and developed a deep appreciation for the role that sustainable land use plays in human and ecosystem health. Dan has clerked for Midwest Environmental Advocates and the California Tahoe Conservancy, and hopes to continue supporting community and ecosystem health through a career in public interest environmental law. Dan loves mountain biking, hiking, and trail running in his free time.
